what happened to my post?

I made a post in this community a matter of weeks ago, I believe when it was still lj_osx (but the iJournal idea had just been announced), with a request for the drawer to return and crazy idea about the interface of the client. Not many people agreed, but now it seems to have been removed. I wasn't even told about this--it wasn't offtopic, or in any way violating the LJ TOS, so I doubt that's it.. I spent time and energy on that post, regardless of if my ideas were all the best in the world. I just want to know, did the community maintainer delete it? Or am I just drawing wrongful conclusions and there's some sort of community bug?

I doubt it was deleted, but that idea has already been brought up, and declined atleast 3-4 times that I know of.

Yes, I'm aware it was declined, but the idea of an iApp-like interface hadn't been brought up in an entry before. But I'm not bringing it up again--I was just asking if anyone knew what happened to the post. I'm pretty sure, now, that it was lost when the community changed over to 'ijournal' though. Thanks for validating (somewhat) that it existed, at least...

check news and paidmembers
Apparently a LOT of stuff has been happening with moving to the new architecture, it looks from posts that things could have gotten borked...

news or paidmembers.

Re: check news and paidmembers
Interesting--I hadn't even thought of the changeover causing this. I looked, and while I didn't see any posts in paidmembers about anything going on, I did make a comment about this. This is the one entry I can prove existed, I have comments from it in my email.

I didn't delete it... it should be among the comments somewhere. I do remember it though. It -might- have gotten lost when Brad renamed the community, but I haven't deleted anything unless it's something that was accidently posted here instead of someone's journal.

If you want to bring it back up and get fresh input, go for it.

Nah, it was pretty apparent that regardless of what the target demographic may want, the developers were against it (even the famous evan). So I'm sure it would never fly! Not a big deal though. I didn't want to bring it up again, just reference it to someone. But sadly it seems to be gone. I'm definitely sure it was there, I expended a lot of energy in the defense of it! :) Thanks for your reply, it seems it was the changeover that lost it. Doh. Maybe brad should be warned that entries get lost in name changeovers?

I spent time and energy on that post

I've done thousands of posts and all that and I hit refresh, refresh, refresh and nothing happens. Eventually the post never comes up and I have to do it all over again and the same things happen so I just wait for the next day and it doesn't suck.
