Custom Security

could it be possible to make iJournal have a more customizable custom security level? I would like to select more than one friend as able to read an entry, but not all of them.

i think you're supposed to do that here: http://www.livejournal.com/friends/editgroups.bml

If you define Friends groups then you can select them from the security list. You can define groups by going to File -> Friends and then clicking on the Groups tab.

As has been pointed out, you can create subgroups in iJournal, but I strongly suggest you double-check your work via LiveJournal's Web interface. In both 1.47 and 1.48, I have witnessed garbled friends lists. I see people both in and out of the groups I've created as well as missing people who are there when I check my Info and friends pages on this site (and I do wish I could get more specific about this for the developers, but it's not easy).

I've noticed that the 'in group' list usually seems accurate, but the 'not in group' list isn't right.

I don't mess with friends groups often, though, so it's never been a big deal for me. :o)
