Posting to MovableType

I've recently made the jump from LiveJournal to Movable Type (new blog: http://www.birdhouse.org/blog/ . One thing I really miss is posting with the iJournal - it's just so good... so I'm wondering whether iJournal has or will have support for posting to multiple blogging systems at some point in the future. I understand that support for the MetaWeblog API would get us there. Is that anywhere in the cards for future support?

Also, would welcome any tips on having my MT posts also show up in my LJ.

According to the website the name of the client was changed to allow branching into other systems besides LJ...

I think that means things like DeadJournal, uJournal, and other sites that run off of the LiveJournal codebase, but aren't livejournal.com.

Re:
Ya, but nothing says an ambitious coder or two couldn't develop modules to make it run with other services. Not that I'm volunteering ;) Actually, it would be really nice to have a journal prog that had a basic editor, but used an almost XML style tagging to markup the entry. Then have the entry be exported in almost anything.

Interesting... Is the idea here that the LJ plugin is going to grab my RSS feed from the ISP via cron, say, once an hour and publish any new entries to new LJ posts? And if so, will it also pick up updates if I later update those posts?

If MT is running on my ISP but I have access to an OS X machine that's running at all times, would you advise running blagg and the plugin on the ISP or on the local OS X machine?

Thanks,
Scot

Many thanks for this. Very close to having a working system here, just have a bit of cron weirdness to work out (can't get it to run from cron, no matter what I do). Must be overlooking something...
