I'm having issues!

I just downloaded iJournal this week. Everytime I user logout or shut down my computer, the next time I login, iJournal disappears from my desktop! I've tried moving it to the Applications folder, I still have to re-download iJournal everytime I want to use it.

Is the iJournal icon supposed to look like a disc drive, btw? If you ctrl click it, "eject" is an option and that doesn't sound normal......

Please help me! I have a cable modem, but still, it's a pain in the ass to have to redownload it everytime I want to use it!

Treat that disc drive like a floppy. when you log out, it gets ejected. and when you drag it to your applications folder, youre just dragging an alias. not intuitive, I know. Blame Apple. What you want to do is open that, and drag just the APPLICATION to your applications folder.

...and continuing on, launch iJournal, then ctrl-click the dock icon, select "keep in dock", and you should be good to go.

Hold down the option key and drag the disk icon to wherever you want to move it. That will copy the actual files, not create an alias.

Or just drag the iJournal application over to the drive. (Dragging apps over will copy the app, not create an alias.)

idea
maybe you work with the image disk and don't copy the software to your applications just the phoenix icon so when you restart the image disk just go to the natural state, i hope this was the issue, or something with user preferences in your computer
