An offer of changes

Hello,

I finished the implementation of a feature to archive posts and a UI to read them back in.

I also fixed the iTunes version detection code so iJournal won't break when we get to version 5 like it did for 4.

Who should I send the new code to in order to have it reviewed and committed?

Talk to you later,
...Nights

It sounded a little like you needed some beta-tester-type-people here... I'm a little next o LiveJournal, but I'd love to help.

Lemme know if you need anyone. Evn.Tomeny@students.siena.edu (I give that because I don't care how many people e-mail me, and Mail has the best Junk Mail protection I've found to date)

Here is the image
http://www.spectralclass.com/iJournal.dmg.gz

That contains both a size-optimized binary and the source.

Re: Here is the image
Note to any who are interested that I updated the version that the link points to to properly set the UI elements in the preference sheet (resetting the state of the switch for whether or not the archives should be kept was looking for a preference key with a typo)

This doesn't have to do with you post. I have a question you might be able to answer. I just downloaded ijournal and it won't open. I get an error message that says there is no application available to open the document "ijournal.dmg.2" . Can you help me? Which app do I need to open it. I know it says .GZIP does that mean I need to have some kind of zip application in order to open it. Please help.

If you download it with Safari, it will unzip it. If you use something else, Stuffit Expander is probably a good bet. You can also use the terminal and type "gunzip

You are in OS X, right?
