Is anyone out there?

Are there many active users of iJournal out there? I am starting to wonder if we have a user base, at all, anymore.

I have seen very little work going on and very few users posting so I am wondering if there is any interest in the work I have been doing on the DEVEL_1 branch. I am beginning to wonder if all the time I am putting into this is simply going to go to waste. Is anyone out there still using iJournal and interested in its on-going development? I can package up a binary of what I have right now if anyone is interested and I can keep working on it but I have a full-time job and a distance education course for the next four months while on my last co-op term so it would be nice to have some help from the other developers or, at least, some enthusiasm from some interested users to keep me focussed.

The re-factoring is nearly done and this will let us do some neat stuff in the future.

So, am I the only one here or is anyone else interested in this?

I've mostly switched to xJ (despite having contributed a little code to iJ in the past); being able to search my old entries and edit them drew me away. Only having the history of the first journal I logged it into is a problem, though; I have several LJs for different purposes!

So I keep an eye on iJ. Who knows what will pop up when the refactoring's done?

Well, fixing the history viewing should be pretty easy (mostly just UI work) once the refactoring is done.

There will also be a modular back-end so we can add support for arbitrary other weblog services.

Take a look if you are interested. The only huge things still left to bring back in the refactoring are friend group management and better error messages.
