Next Testing Release Available

Well, the next testing release (3) for the 1.60 version of iJournal (the result of the DEVEL_1 branch) is now available:
http://www.student.cs.uwaterloo.ca/~jmdisher/ijournal.dmg (same link as before)

This version brings back friend group modification. This still isn't quite complete but it is getting there.

Note to cryo: What else should we try to have done before taking this back to the trunk?

Tell me if there are any big problems. Also, can someone tell me if this runs properly on 10.1 and 10.2 (I only have 10.3 available to me)?

can't log in
well, i d/led this version being extremely excited...BUT. i have it set to auto-login on startup. Auto-login appears at the bottom, but the program never logs in. i let run for over a minute and i'm a on broadband connection, and it never logs in. i now this because my pics and journals don't populate the drop-down lists in the toolbar.
Also: the chasing arrows are no longer there when the program is busy doing some network stuff. we need them back.
I'm using 10.2.8

Re: can't log in
Thanks for the info.

Can you open up the Console program (in the Utilities folder) when you try to login and tell me if anything gets written there? Only look for whatever appears after you start to login (there will be tons of other stuff there with respect to other things in the system). Reply with anything interesting that is written there (the lines written by iJournal will have iJournal written after the date, at the beginning of the line).

The chasing arrows sort of work but are not working correctly in some situations. I do need to fix that.
