i have one problem with iJournal, but other than that, it’s a great product.

the one problem i have is: it won’t grab the music. i click the little icon, and it says “Getting music...” for an instant at the bottom, but nothing appears in the box. i’m using iTunes version 1.1.2, with OSX verson 10.1. any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Re: well,
the only problem i have with that is i have a slot-load imac with a 400 mhz G3. it's almost an antique at this point. i have a copy of 10.2, which is the latest OS that my computer can handle, but, unfortunately, it's on DVD. i don't have a DVD drive; or a CD burner for that matter, so i can't back anything up, either. i was told by the guy at the genius bar that it may be a problem with my firmware, but he got called off by his manager for an in-store chrisis before he could tell me what firmware is. i remember before he got cut off, he said something about making everything on my drive a disc-image.

firmware and such
firmware is basically software that's embedded into your hardware and runs independent of the OS. The latest firmware update for your iMac is available here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75130
Note that you'll need a working version of OS 9.1. I would also suggest printing the instructions before your comp shuts down.
See if that solves the problem, and if not...you can just re-install 10.1 without wiping your disk.
