Connection Rejection

I leave iJournal (version 1.47) open most of the time I am on my computer so that it can notify me when my friends page gets updated. After about 3 hours I get the following message:
Unable to connect to proxy or server
hostlookup: 1 errno: 9 connect success: 0

if I hit ok it comes right back, if I turn off the friends update and then hit ok it goes away until I turn it back on.. If I close it and reopen it it is fine.. Any ideas?

Also is it just me or does anyone elses Dock Icon -> Web -> Friends View not work?
