For those who know how to use IB, you can just use the english.proj and make changes saving it as the translated version.
Or we need to look at how plists are current setup.
The last way would be to look at all of the text and menu options and write a file with the specific translation.
I want a Japanese version asap. Other translations are welcome, and greatly appreciated.

If not, perhaps this should be done on the DEVEL_1 branch since externalizing strings is tedious and is shouldn't be done twice (changes aren't necessarily mergeable, either). It does most of what we need so it could be brought over to the main branch soon, anyway.
Can you send me a list of strings that need translating?
